We have two core businesses dedicated to achieving our goals: a pharmaceutical business and a nutraceutical business. Our pharmaceutical business develops and markets products for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in the following areas: neuroscience, nephrology, haemato-oncology, endocrinology, cardiovascular, renal, ophthalmology and infectious disease. Our nutraceutical business is dedicated to maintaining and improving health through the use of foods and beverages that provide extra health benefits. Since our beginning, over a century ago, the Otsuka family has sought to travel down the paths of discovery where others are less likely to tread.
